Famous Fuzzball

Y’all. pssst! Oh my god. The powers that be over at True Confessions… wrote me a personal e-mail! From their handheld wireless Blackberry, nonetheless, if the automatic signature is to be believed.

Remember my little temper tantrum from the other day? They are personally sorry that my confession didn’t get posted, and they thought it was a good confession, and they hope I will be back to post more…!

Say no more, True Confession Owner Person! I’m already on it. Oh, and P.S. and by the way? I really wish I had come up with that brilliant idea, first. What a mind-suckingly entertaining website.

Meanwhile, it is raining, today, which is great for our grass, but not so great for the fuzzball on top of my head that claims to be “hair.” I just walked into the bathroom, and realized I am sporting a giant globe of frizz upon my shoulders today, nocholantly pinned back (?) from my forehead with some uneven clip thing-ies. Of course, I did not realize that I was impersonating a tumbleweed on acid until after I met with the Very Important Vendor this morning, so ah. You know. I’m not sure how seriously she took me and my electrocuted rat’s nest. We’ll see if she calls back.

Rat's Nest. Vendor woman. Sounds like the ingredients for an employee confession to me.

I feel your pain for humidity kills my hair too. Last summer I had spent 15 dollars on this excellent perm, and of course it was like 117 percent humidity for the next 2 weeks! It was not pretty.

My go to for bad hair days? Hair bands. I look like the world's oldest 3rd grader

Meno - heh heh. It just might be....

Ryan - a perm? Really, dude?

Diane - Me too! I just wish I had thought to bring one, yesterday.

TrueOfficeConfessions wrote you back personally? That's very cool! After I found it from your blog, I had one of my confessions be the confession of the day, but I think I'd rather have a personal blackberry-sent apology email. Well, actually what I'd like the most is to work in an office where I didn't feel the need to send in anonymous confessions about how much I hate working here, but we can't always get what we want. (But you try sometimes, you just might find, you get what you need.)

I have bone straight hair that isn't affected by the weather (it does nothing no matter what it's like outside!) so I have no tips. Just don't pull a Britney and shave it all off. Have you seen that girl lately? YIKES!

Heheh.. I liked the desperation in your comment on my blog:

"WHAT WAS YOUR TRUEOFFICE CONFESSION?
I must know."

Ok ok, it was something along the lines of:

"Dear Co-workers, I'm the receptionist in our lovely little office and I happen to be blessed with the gift of call display. Sometimes, when I see that it's you calling from your home number, I transfer your line to the answering service and let them deal with it. Sorry, I've hit my insanity quota for the day. Try again tomorrow."

So yeah, I do that. I'm pretty much Pam Beesley with a lousy attitude. Sometimes I feel guilty, so I do pick up my co-workers calls. Then, I'm always instantly reminded why I don't do that. ~rolls eyes~

I've saved the truely scandalous for when I leave this place. You wouldn't believe the shit that goes down here.

Are you my long-lost sister? I have naturally curly hair that becomes the biggest afro in the smallest amount of moisture. My cure, a hat. Because my hairdresser has yet to believe me that short hair and layers don't mix with naturally curly hair.

Mishy- ha ha! I love your confession! I am dying to hear more. How many more weeks 'til you're outta there???

Romi- Thank you so much for stopping by to leave a comment! I am totally addicted to your website. Brilliant idea. And I like your confession, too.

Christie- I need a hat. Where do you buy hats? I don't know if I am cool enough to get by with the hat look....
