Shiny Things

Where should I wear my newly acquired peacock feather earrings?

Photobucket

I am not typically into feathers, or birds, or bits of animal as bits of wardrobe in general, but for the longest time I have harbored this strange craving for peacock feather earrings. I don’t know why. Then I found these on a good deal at a crafty store yesterday and… well. I couldn’t not get them. No peacocks died in the gathering of the feathers. But my fashion credibility might, if they are not worn carefully.

With WHAT does one pair iridescent feathers??? LBD? Iridescent shirts? Pajamas, as they are not fit to be worn outside the bedroom?

I would simply go single colour with your top- in a matching colour or a neutral. (Or dress as the case may be)
I think as long as you aren't too flashy everywhere else (in your ensemble), you can wear them anytime!

Black anything so the earrings are the brightest thing. At least that's what I think.

BTW, email your facebook info so we can be friends, because everyone needs more friends. I'll send you flair.

LBD, anything in the browns family, teal-ish (thinking What Not to Wear's "It has to GO with, not MATCH with" mantra) stuff, denim...strappy tanks

They really are not gaudy and should be easy to pair with many different ensems.

Brown, black, turquoise...
But honestly, I'd wear'em with *anything*. Peacock earrings...hmmm, there's just something about those...
I had a pair once, but they got pretty destroyed after an occasion or two.Too much wind...make sure you'll take them out in an indoor place only.

BLACK!!! A sleek, black, well-fitted dress with knee-high boots would be excellent. Earings like those babies need to be highlighted, and the only ways is to low-light everything else....
